Finding Inspiration

I’m Vanessa, owner and creator  of Salted Oak.  A wife, pediatric nurse, and homeschool mom,  life is full and beautiful.

 

i cherish the gift of family and friends.  Creating inspires me.  Ten years ago I began refinishing furniture and fell in love with the look of natural wood. 

 

I ventured into handmade serving boards cut from live edge pieces.  Charcuterie became a weekly practice in our home and gathering became an experience. 

 

My hope is that salted oak creates a beautiful board for your table, an uplifting gift, or inspires a memorable moment together.  even more, I hope it sparks a celebration of each other;our commonality and uniqueness.
