Handcrafted, large, solid walnut, double sided charcuterie/cutting board. Named after my grandmother. She was elegant, refined, and loved sharing her creations from the kitchen. She was also extremely practical. This piece was designed to function as both a cutting board and a serving piece. An heirloom providing a very large, functional workspace. Ellie has  been treated with food grade mineral oil, carnauba wax and beeswax to provide a food safe, water resistant coating. Use cutting board soap, and cutting board oil to preserve the luster of the natural wood. 
 
This piece was designed to highlight the beauty of natural wood.  Imperfections were left as part of the design to create a unique, one of a kind finished product .  Surface cracks and knots are sealed, but remain visible intentionally.  I am happy to send additional pictures or answer any questions to ensure you are thrilled with your purchase.
